It is here... now the work begins

Well, the Blessed CD's have made it here and now the real work begins.  I just thought that it was a lot of work to record the CD.  Haha... well, let me tell you... that is only a little part of the whole thing.  Now comes the planning and promotion.  So, here we go!  Oh yeah... and order you a copy at www.levimonk.com

So I was told I need to blog/ Sessions Conference

A couple weeks ago, I went to a conference in Nashville, Tennessee about music business.  And it was awesome!  The name of the conference was Sessions and it was put on by Patton House Entertainment.  http://www.sessionsconference.com/.  And if you are at all interested in getting into the music business, I would HIGHLY encourage you to check one out in your area.  They have people who have working in the business for years and know the ropes come in and talk to you about everything from booking, management, record labels, image, branding, etc.  The best thing is they are there and available to answer any questions you have and really make themselves available to talk.

One of the things they were talking about was the importance of having an online presence.  Part of that being a blog that you keep up with and post regularly.  So, I am going to attempt to do this.  I have never really been a blogger, however, I think it really looks like fun!  Maybe one of these days I will attempt a video blog.. you never know.
