My Day Off

I have a day off of work today.  I enjoy having a mid-week break… even if it means I have to work Saturday til 1pm.  Not too bad. 

Just got back from the Doctor’s office to get my incisions checked from my vein stripping in September.  Glad to report that all is well.  And I am done with the varicose vein deal. 

The rest of my day will consist of painting.  I am getting ready to move into my first apartment.  It was in need of some TLC, so I have cleaned like I have never cleaned before and now I am putting up some fresh paint.  Worked on it a bit last night, and it is already looking MUCH better. 

With all the work of getting the apartment ready and getting ready to move, I have not had the chance to work on writing songs like I would like.  Beth and I have been trying to get some new music ready to record.  We have several songs that I am really looking forward to getting out there. 

Well, I must go now… them walls aren’t self painting…

Clean, clean, clean….

As some of you may know, I am getting ready to move into my own apartment.  I am super excited about moving day (you can help if you want… lol) which is going to be around the last week of November.  Right now, I am giving it a real thorough clean as it has been vacant for a while and just needs some sprucing up. 

So, that was my evening… cleaning… yeah…. I know… cleaning… BUT it is all worth it.    Have a great day tomorrow… tis Friday…. that makes it a default great day.
